Inspirations for 2025

I’ve been in a bear den searching for inspirations for the next few releases. I’m pretty sure that I’d like to focus on great moms of the ocean for one release.

It would be wonderful to see the ocean animal moms as accessories or plushies during Mother’s Day.

I’m also researching some new content with current trends on runways, Pinterest, and SEO rankings. I know that things change every year or even by season. But, I’d love to find inspiration for some accessories that I can use for crochet or woodworked items.

Right now I have a few drafts of items that I like, but I haven’t committed to many.

I’m also scrambling to find new sources of supplies because of the Joann’s stores closing. I have an especially difficult time finding sources of yarn because I come from a very rural area. So, I have to take into consideration travel costs and/or delivery times.

I’m keeping in mind what past customers have graciously given me feedback on what they would like to see. It’s so much fun interacting with customers who also crochet. They look at the items and light up. It’s a privilege to be a part of the yarn community.
