All You Can Do is Accomplish Your Vision
Life can throw curveballs and things don't always work out the way you think they will. But, you shouldn't let it chip away your convictions. If you define yourself in a certain way, say an entrepreneur. Then allow yourself to be as exemplary at that role as you can be. There will difficult times. And there will be times when you can't see the forest through the trees. But, I guarantee that if you believe in yourself wholeheartedly and surround yourself with people who feel likewise, then you are setting yourself up for a better outcome. If its a small group of people, then you are blessed to have them. If you have time to add another person, add me! "You can do this."
It's like running in deep sand when you start a business and you are constantly playing catchup. There are many decisions to be made and ways to define your brand/business. So, creating a vision for your business and you as an entrepreneur is a great way to protect yourself from any naysaying or second-guessing. I strongly recommend you see a vision through at least to figure out what works for you or what you may need to change.
Make it a cycle. Create your vision, follow through, and reassess. You are constantly growing as an individual; as a result, your knowledge base grows with you. So, your approach to your business may undergo some finetuning over time. But, as in computer coding, keep a record of what you believe was working and try to pinpoint why. Have that record to guide yourself back when things get overwhelming or too much change happens. A sort of reboot when your business needs it. Its okay to go back to a previous state that your business was meeting your goals. You already have many choices to make for your business. You don't have to choose to internalize others' negative thoughts. Follow your vision and you can count on growing from what you've made a reality.
